I sail a Laser and Laser Bahia in this Life Jacket almost every weekend. I do this in a tropical environment so I haven't needed the hand warming pockets. I wear a rash guard under it and it has been very comfortable this way. It is short enough on my torso that I can effectively hike out or lean into the boat without the jacket interfering. I'm 6 feet tall and weigh about 160 pounds. The straps provide plenty of adjustment and the jacket hugs my body. I like a nice snug fit in a life jacket. I've capsized many times in this jacket and it floats me quite comfortably. I also feel comfortable wearing it for long periods - I typically sail 5 to 6 hours at a time and I don't feel in a rush to take it off at the end of the day. I will note that I whitewater raft and therefore am accustomed to having a lifejacket on all day (different one for that sport). The pockets are great. I keep a whistle in one and a rigging knife in the other. Easy to access and the zippers stay closed. I have a small point and shoot camera that easily fits in the pocket. The grey pocket has an elastic loop in it to attach something to. I'm very satisfied with it and would definitely buy it again. Most of the consumer Reviews tell that the "Stohlquist Drifter Personal Floatation Device, Charcoal/Royal Blue, XX-Large" are high quality item.
