I ordered these gloves in 12 ounce. I got them and I loved them because they were so comfortable and padded. I've used it on the bag for a few months now and I realized that they didn't really feel like 12 ounces. I've worn 12 ounce gloves before and they never felt this heavy.

I put these gloves on the scale and it turned out that they each weighed 19.2 ounces. I realize that the weight of boxing gloves are not always exactly what they are shown as, but these gloves were 7.2 ounces heavier than advertised! (Yes, I checked the tag on the inside of the glove which clearly says 12 OZ)

Just as with the Firewall 220 which i also boght, the thing was brand new and the stitches started braking. The thread used is very thin, clearly not strong at all. No wonder given that Sugoi has a paltry 30 day guarantee on their products, vs. Pearl Izumi, Marmot and others that have lifetime guarantees. Also, for a thick, fairly heavy cold weather jacket, it fits a little too snugly - and i'm slender - not giving much room for layers underneath.

Vanguard Pelican Style Supreme Series Hard Case Review

I love this case! I have it configured to hold 2 Canon AE-1's (one a program and one a standard), 8 rolls of film, 10 or 15 filters, 2 50mm lenses, 2 telephoto lenses, 1 macro lens, a flash and a shutter cable with plenty of room to spare. I plan on getting a nice digital camera with a good lens to fill up the remaining area.

My only problem is with the foam interior. It's designed to be easily broken/cut away by being partially serrated. Originally I thought this would be a God send... I wouldn't have to soak it in water and freeze it to be able to cut through... but after I got through most of it, I realized that the serrated edges are easily stressed and start to fall apart. I have a couple of seams where I should've left a little extra space so as not to strain the foam, but this was the first time I've ever had a real case like this. I'm pretty sure I can find some foam glue to fix the areas that are strained of have torn. If you can find something to reinforce the bottom of each foam sheet (there are two in the case, each goes half way down), I suspect there wouldn't be that much of a problem.

I would definitely buy this case again.

First Place Competition Kettlebell 24KG Green Review

I had some smaller ones (15lb, 20lb, 25lb, and two 35's) before I ordered one of these. The three lighter weight ones were clearance pick-ups at the local brick and mortar and far lighter then I perfer. The 35's were J/Fits ordered thru Amazon and have been great for doing everything I wanted except for swings as they are too light for me singly and too heavy doubled up plus uncomfortable for me to swing in that fashion.

This Perform Better kettlebell is a step up from the J/Fits though. I got the 26kg one which is plain black except for the handle which is unpainted steel. Good gripping surface in both size and diameter. Completely flat bottom which the J/Fits can't quite match. Perfectly shaped, it just flat out looks good. It swings well, looks bulletproof, and should last for years if not decades.

I won't even say it is pricey as the quality blows away some of the lighter kettlebells you see on the store shelves and those are often priced as much or more on a pound for pound basis. I ordered directly from Perform Better and had the Kettlebell in my hands in less then a week, which is the second time I have gone through them (battling rope) and had them deliver that quickly. I would order another one of these in a heartbeat if I move up in weight ever.
