This thing is SUPER Sharp out of the box. D2 tool steel means its also super tough. Grip feels amazing in the hand. Leather sheath is very nice. Over all top notch quality. The only down side to D2 Tool steel is its so hard it makes sharpening it a little more difficult BUT you dont have to sharpen it often. Great value for a knife like this. Perfect for Utility knife, work knife, hunting knife, etc...Just make sure you keep it lightly oiled. Its not Stainless so it will rust if you just leave it un-oiled.
