I am not into racing anymore but the features of this tire is as important as if I were. Rolling resistance, I'm very sensitive to it. When cold weather comes along a lot of tires harden up and this old fellow can tell it right off. Yes these tires are more expensive and I can tell you right now you won't be sorry you spent the money. These roll as easy as some very thin skins I run in summer when trail is blown clean once a week. This Black Chile compound they use is fantastic. To you fellows that are into racing I would have a set of these Conti attack/force for training and on race day put on a pair of Cont's GP Supersonic Black Chile's. The Supersonecs are only good for mybe a little over 400 miles, depends on how hard you pull them. It's your power that grinds off the rubber, they're just for race day and you must win! These pants are true to size and fit well. They are lightweight and keep the bugs away as advertised. A bit expensive, but worth it when going into an area known to have malaria. The tag says that the bug repellant treatment will last through 70 washings. Haven't reached that yet, but after a couple dozen or so it still works. I've used DIY permethrin products and they work well too. However, they are rated for only 6 washings or so. Now that my stint in the "malaria zone" is over, I use these on hikes and gardening out back in my mosquito infested yard.

Camelbak Alpine Explorer Hydration Pack (100-Ounce/1648 Cubic-Inch, Dark Navy/Orion Blue) Review

I'll start by saying that to begin with i was a little disappointed with how big it was. It seems small but it can store a lot. I've used it several times for travel and I use it to take stuff to work and it's amazing sometimes how much i can store in it. I didn't plan on it as a replacement, I wanted it to use for some hiking with the family this summer, but I've ended up using this instead of 2 other bags that I used to use, one messenger bag that I used to things to work in, and one large sports bag that I used when going to the gym. It holds a lot, but packs down small and so is extremely versatile. Although i agree with what other reviewers have said about the main pocket being difficult to get into when you have something in the compression area, this isn't a great difficulty and since I was expecting it wasn't a surprise and therefore I haven't taken any stars off for it as I don't think it's that bad. I worry that the material isn't as rugged as some of the older/other camelback bags, it's not the heavy/thick material I'm used to in outdoor bags, but it seems pretty good and the manufacture and design is great. One thing I'm constantly pleased with, and I know this is going to sound weird, but the zippers are awesome. They open really easily. They seem really sturdy and hardwearing, but they can be opened really easily, usually with just one hand and I think that demonstrates the amount of though that went into the design of this pack. I haven't used the reservoir yet, hopefully soon, so I can't comment on that, except to say that I've played with it a bit and it seems to be built with the same attention to detail that the rest of the pack was made with. Overall I'm really pleased and constantly glad that I bought this versus any of the others I was looking at.

These pants are very sturdy, and are tailored with darts and panels to improve flexibility and durability. The waistband has a fuzzy liner to improve comfort. They have very deep pockets which are accessible from the appropriate angles. One problem I have with the pants is that my HTC Tilt, a (rather large) smartphone won't fit in the "phone pocket". Most normal sized dumbphones will fit in it just fine, and the remaining pockets are large enough to fit lots of items, so it's definitely not a deal breaker.

I purchased this along with TWO other Columbia jacket in the same sizeColumbia Women's Tested Tough Fast Trek Full Zip Jacket, which fit just right and Columbia Women's Benton Springs Full Zip Fleece, which was too big and bulky. I purchased ALL three jackets in the same size and I started to feel like Goldilocks when noting the significant differences between each jacket, all purchased in the same size.

I bought this jacket because I loved the colors but the dark plum was so dark that it looked more like black and my husband claimed that the pink looked more like orange. The jacket was tight ALL over--chest, arms (especially) and even on my, um, butt. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone with a large bust or a big butt or curves. The jacket is a little long and falls down onto your hips. Also, I would consider getting a size larger than you normally would because even with a thin shirt, the jacket didn't fit.

Smokehouse Products Little Chief Top Load Electric Smoker Review

We got a Little Chief top-load smoker (the only version made back then) for our wedding in 1971. We caught lots of salmon back then, and half of it went into this smoker. Alder wood is best with salmon, and I just finished smoking 3 pounds of it this afternoon. That same little smoker works every time, and should last a few more years, at least. I actually looked into getting another, but decided to use this until the heating element finally quits (it's the original). It's old, dark, and crusty, and I think we've used it over 250 times, but after 41 years of great service, it now is part of the family (a smelly part, though). Happy smoking!

P.S. Realize that this unit is a smoker, but NOT a cooker. Some meats will need to be cooked in another, hotter, appliance in addition to being smoked with the Little Chief. Salmon, however, does just fine with only smoking. Sometimes I smoke the brined chunks for 6 hours or so. The fish chunks get darkened on the outside, but the interior is mildly smoked, moist and tasty. Other times, I smoke the fish for 12-15 hours. In that case, the fish shrinks in size, gets very dark and rich, and the texture is more chewy. The intense smokey salmon flavor is awesome, but too strong for some. My favorite brine was found online. It contains white wine, soy sauce, brown sugar, onion salt and water. Once you get your new smoker, experiment with different recipes and species. Have fun!
