These pants are true to size and fit well. They are lightweight and keep the bugs away as advertised. A bit expensive, but worth it when going into an area known to have malaria. The tag says that the bug repellant treatment will last through 70 washings. Haven't reached that yet, but after a couple dozen or so it still works. I've used DIY permethrin products and they work well too. However, they are rated for only 6 washings or so. Now that my stint in the "malaria zone" is over, I use these on hikes and gardening out back in my mosquito infested yard.
