Hi, Amazon Shoppers. This Carhartt is really good as most are. I would have given it five stars if it was made in America and not in China. I didn't know that. I also thought the yellow color was too florescent. It is Electric Yellow and not as bright as the high visibility green you will see on safety wear, but much more then plain yellow. I would buy this coat again if it came in Sunshine Yellow and happily pay twice as much. You may really like the Blue version of this Jacket and it is very attractive.
This coat is actually awesome with a few good properties that I would like to tell you about. It is very thin, light in weight and it is made from a very fine square ripstop material. it's not binding or constrictive and not heavy. That said it is still really warm! I tried it on and felt I would get sweaty fast if I didn't take it off. I can't wait for the snow to fly with this coat and try out how warm it keeps me without bulk! I am very happy I got this jacket. I know sometimes Carhartt comes out with something cool and pretty soon you can't find it anywhere, like the Wylie Jacket which I got one in Mushroom and am I happy about that! There is a lot more to this jacket, but if you have any questions just ask me so I don't go into minutiae too far.
