Once to get past the price shock, this pump is a good one for High Pressure (up to 260psi) tires. On the other hand, if you don't have the specific need for high pressure, skip this one and find a MUCH cheaper pump to serve your needs. This pump is very well built and the 3-stage system makes tire inflation a breeze. The only thing I don't like about the pump is the location of the pressure gauge at the bottom of the pump rather than at the top. Also, I have read others complain about the head popping off presta valves. Topeak states in the instructions that at the high pressure stage (above 120 psi), you are supposed to use the supplied valve adapter to achieve a tighter grip on the stem which is a bit of bother. Considering the only reason one should reasonably buy this pump is for archiving high pressure, Topeak should have come up with a head that will stay on without needing an adapter.
