Laser was not very bright in daylight. If you are expecting something like CrimsonTrace quality and power then look elsewhere. It mounted correctly and it worked but like the other reviewers here said: you could get a brighter laser pointer from an office supply store especially in the daylight. It was so dim in daylight that I actually lost track of it i.e. could not see the red dot.
