This Shinwa Katana sword measures 38 1/2" overall, and features a Damascus steel 27 1/2" blade that has been heat forged at over 1000 degrees and folded over 2,000 times for pure cutting power. The blade offers a heavy blood groove in the traditional katana design and is built to perform with a razor sharp edge. The hardwood handle offers genuine ray skin with purple nylon cord wrap, brass menuki, and cast zinc tsuba.

This Katana with the purple Tsuka is a nice addition to my collection of swords < $100. The blade has a very slight curve, maybe 2 degrees. This is a full tang sword and has 2 mekugi pegs in the tsuka. The sword is not at all shiny and is just like the picture shows.
The description says that the blade is folded 2000 times, but the 2000 probably are the number of layers since most blades are folded less than 20 times.
The blade was not razor sharp when it arrived but after a few light passes with my AccuSharp sharpener, it did pass the paper test easily. It did come with the gift box as shown in the picture I uploaded.
