Product Description

Less recoil equals faster follow up shots. The gas block has two main features: adjustability from the front of the block and infinite adjustment by a detent locking mechanism. The block mechanism consists of a set screw and a detent button. The set screw regulates the amount of gas that flows through the block. It can be adjusted repeatedly in the field without the need of using LoctiteTM. You can regulate the amount of gas flow by unscrewing (opening) and screwing (closing) the set screw. Once you obtain the proper setting, the screw is locked into place by a detent. To adjust the set screw you push in the detent, use a Hex Key to turn the screw to the proper setting, and release the set screw. The screw is locked in place by the detent. It will not turn (move) until the detent is manually pressed in.

I put this on an 11.5 AR that was monumentally over gassed. I was able to tame it down to run with my M4-1000 silencer.

I'd give it 5 stars if it were more able to fine tune the cyclic rate/gas flow. It seemed like I struggled to get a sweet spot that would run with and without the can... so I just dedicated the can to the 11.5 and am running great.
