The materials and finish appear excellent. I look forward to seeing how it ages, and anticipate it will last for years. The size and trim body cut are fantastic for me. I am tall, as well as thick but fit, and always had a problem getting clothes because there would be too much material around the waist in any shirt, jacket or coat, but this jacket is fine for me. If you have short arms, you may want to roll the sleeves once at the cuff/wrist, but it will still look OK. If your waist is large, try before you buy, or possibly go one size up. I'll wear this often, so maybe I will update this review in a year or two and let you know how it's aging, but right now it appears to be a very well done garment.
