Thank goodness Nine West came out with this "Newsflash" style!

I had purchased the Nine West "Needles" boot from Piperlime (it was an exclusive) and loved it but had to return them because the boot went over the knee -- a bit too high for me. Was so bummed because I loved the texture of the soft leather (already looks a bit broken in, not shiny and new) and the low profile rubber "wedge" sole. Also, the buckle detail. I thought the boot was a nice blend of a motocross boot and a riding boot.

I just happened to spot these boots when they hit the market -- new for fall. Exactly the same as the "Needles" but hits a couple of inches below the knee -- yay!

The buckles are functional so you can tighten the boot around your calf if you need a snugger fit.

One thing: This boot runs VERY LARGE. I am usually an 8.5 and I had to buy a 7.5. Even then, I have a little wiggle room at the toes.
