I bought this as a Christmas gift for my husband, as he asked for a barometer; I had actually wanted one for years, so it was a win-win situation. :) Anyway, I was so pleased when it arrived; it is beautiful, very easy to set, and accurately warns us of the changes in our weather via barometric pressure. I have checked it against local weather, & each time the barometric reading has been spot-on. I like the arm that is on the outside of the case. You move it until it is immediately over the needle inside, & then you can easily see how much & how fast the pressure is rising or falling in a particular time period. That's a nice bonus! This barometer has everything I want & need in one, plus the extra I mentioned, nothing extraneous, & is handsome & beautifully crafted.
