This is my second pair of R3s. My first pair took a beating of more than one season of derby and held up well with all the abuse and crappy warehouse we skate on. I taped and felted the hell out of them though so that helped. While the plate is cheap, it never failed me. I still have the old pair with my outdoor wheels on them so i dont have to switch out for an outdoor skate.
I am vegan so i have taken the time to build a vegan skate (as the Divines are over priced) so I just bought another pair of R3s and it was an easy switch other then the damn togue cutting into my ankle which it did when I broke in the first pair too.
Shipping was fast and this was one of the best shipped prices I could find.
*note- the wheels, as everyone knows, are crap. 1 star. Donate or throw them away.
