This is the first time I'm wearing K-Swiss shoes after switching from Prince & New Balance which I have worn for years. Firstly, I had a difficult time shopping for tennis shoes that were not predominatly white!Or worse - Pink! Most manufacturers are making women's athletic shoes in pink and do not factor in that there are women out there that don't like that colour. Also, with the trend in other athletic shoes to vibrant colours, tennis shoes are lagging behind. Moving on, the shoe is very conservative in style and design but has a very nice stiff, low to the ground feel which is good for clay courts. The low profile makes it very stable and reduces the chance of side-to-side roll over. Though it is the correct size for me, it feels and looks long on the foot but the lace pattern is very good and allows for the heel of the foot to be properly anchored. It breathes well and has good cushioning in the heel but could do with some more in the front. Overall, a decent, solid tennis shoe.
