Way more useful for coverage than icepacks or frozen peas. Simple to use, bought a universal pad to use for other strains and pains of your standard 40 year old crossfitter type. Can't recommend highly enough! Wish I had purchased prior to surgery, relief allowed me to reduce pain meds immediately. Too bad insurance won't cover this item unless it is for workman's comp.
