Well, this is my 14th pair this season, not all in the Cresmont line, but with other styles of boots, sneakers and shoes from Ralph Lauren. The Cresmont is lightweight but sturdy. I just got this pair, but I own four other pairs within the Polo hiking boots line. They are all durable and stylish. The strings are a bit short, but I prefer them that way. Most of the time wearing boots the strings are long and they end up flopping to the point where you step on them. These are perfect for me; makes me having to sinch them up from the toe.

The comfort is in the heels. The extra cushion at the heel makes this very comfortable. Forget hiking, I love how they feel on every day use. I try to sneak them on to the work place on days I don't have meetings. They are so compfortable that I want to wear them in the house!

I like the design and the color variations. They stand out but aren't so loud that you can't wear them with just about everything except with a suit. This is perfect right now especially during winter where there is salt on every sidewalk. I don't have to worry about my sole getting damp and it staying damp days after I want to wear them again. This looks like it will last awhile.

I don't recommend you paying $139 for these. I don't recommend any shoes having a price tag of over $100, unless they're made out of Panda. If you can find these under $50 I'd recommend you snag them. I got mine here for only $37.95, so it's a great price. It's rare to find hinking boots this light and versatile. But then again I am a Ralph Lauren loyalist. He can do no wrong.
