Below was my original review. If you read, you will see that I really liked these glasses. Well, today, not even 2 months later, my lens popped out, hit the floor and cracked. A screw holding the frame around the lens worked its way loose. Seriously?? I work out of my house and only wore these glasses when I drove. We are talking 15 min to get anywhere I need to go. When I get home, I put them back in their case. Yes, they seriously lasted 7 weeks before breaking.

This upsets me because Serengeti used to be a great brand. It is a shame to see them go to an extremely cheap product and charge out the wazzoo for them.

These glasses are complete junk and you are better off going to Walmart and spending $7.99 like I just did until I can find another pair of sun glasses.

Now, if you do decide to go ahead and buy them anyway, you only have 30 days to return them.

My $400 Oakley X Metal XX sunglasses got "Tired" after 7 or so years of everyday use. They are the best sunglasses that I have ever owned.

My big problem with sunglasses is that they never fit my wide face. Most of the time, I feel like I am wearing kid's glasses. I also believe in quality lenses.

I was always a Serengeti fan way back when Corning still owned them. So, I decided to order these babies. I did go to the Serengeti website to check what pairs were made for a larger fit.

So, I will admit that if Oakley didn't discontinue my old sunglasses, I would go out and get another pair. Hey, after 7 years they grew on me...a lot.

Well, I put these new ones on and of course, they felt different. Yes, the lenses and clarity are every bit as clear as others have described. Simply amazing. They also fit my melon head very nicely! I can totally get used to these, for sure. Yes, the lenses are better than the Oakleys.

This pair also came with a hard case that has a distressed brown leather look....Bonus!

Now, will these hold up as long as my beloved Oakleys? Who knows but they are well built.

If you are on the fence about these, don't be. I highly recommend them.
