I bought these last season and have been using them each time we go to the snow. I am new to snowshoeing so it took
me a while to figure out that these may not be the best for me. They are pretty wide so my stride is disrupted.
I run so I am in good shape, but after a day on these I am sore. They have good traction on most snow, even when going down hill or up a gentle grade. I also found that they flip snow all the way up my backside. This isn't good
when you do not have waterproof pants on. The straps are pretty good. They fit close to the boot and hold your foot secure. Although you do have to take your gloves off to put them on or take them off. I have enjoyed them, but now I'm ready for a better design since this is my snow sport of choice.
