I own a few of these tops (a full jacket and a pullover) and like them for their comfort, quietness, and overall functionality. It does not breathe nearly as well as Gore Tex, so if you live in/play in warmer climates, the product may hold in more heat than you want. The tops are very comfortable and are also great for travel since they pack small and really don't wrinkle. The fabric is very soft and not at all "crunchy" like some rainwear can be. Since my momma didn't raise a fool, I cannot comment on its ability to keep you dry in an 8-hour squall. I will say that it will keep you dry for a few holes of heavy rain and a ride/run/walk back to the clubhouse. I still prefer Gore Tex for breathe-ability, but from a price/value perspective, Rainflex is a fine product.

Sun Mountain is also a fine company to deal with. Great designs, easy to deal with and have sent me replacement parts at no charge for a Speed Cart that was just out of warranty. The parts cost them a few bucks, but earned a customer for life.
