As others have said this tight runs small. Almost all my shorts are PI and a medium fits perfect, for these tights I couldn't even get a medium over my thighs so forget about layers had to go LRG. They are very warm and wouldn't use them in temps over 40F, but I am from the uppermidwest and used to cool temps. I also went chamois-less for these so I can use them for running and snowshoes.

**Update 12/7/11** These tights are VERY warm. If you are a midwesterner, or other cold weather rider, as you body adjusts to the winter cold you probably wont need these until it is closer to (or below) 30F outside. I've noticed that when temps near 40F my legs just sweat like crazy with these on. If your commuting or on a casual ride you might not have that issue, but if your riding hard you're gonna sweat.
