Tour Edge Exotics Xtreme Stand Bag (Black/White) Review

I was looking for a replacement carry bag at a good price; found this for $70 and free shipping. Got it today (7/26/13), pulled it out of the box and noticed the left leg is slightly warped. Figured out why; the legs set wide and picking up the bag to put on your shoulder it will be very easy to catch the bag's left leg on your right leg...thus warping the bag's left leg. Wide legs on the bag give it more stability, but also make it easier to damage them. The bag I got is new, but must have been in a shop where people were able to "try them on" which is why one leg is slightly bent. This is not a knock on the seller; it is just an observation on the design of the bag. The leg is not warped enough to return it. In any case, Tour Edge might warranty a bent leg; I may check out that option.
I loaded it up, and adjusted the straps to fit. Good balance, and the bag seems well made. Very comfortable. Will get it course tested in a couple days. Have been carrying an Ogio vaporlite and liked it also, but it is starting to show some wear. I think I may prefer the Ogio "Woode" design dividers, but that may be because I have carried it for several years and am very used to that layout.
Just on first impressions I think this bag is a great quality bag for under $100, and just as good as some bags that sell in the $150 price range. I'd say if you can find these for under that $100 mark, it's a good deal.

Update: Carried this bag today for 18 and I am impressed. There was very little club chatter while walking. The seven way top keeps the clubs nicely separated and easy to pull. The legs do sit wider, which give it a lot more stability than the Ogio bag (a drawback to that bag). I am very pleased with this product.
