BARSKA 8-32x50 AO Varmint Mil-Dot Riflescope Review

I mounted this on a 22 rifle that I use for target shooting. I wanted to see where my shots were going at 50 yards without having to use a spotting scope. So far I have only sighted it in but it is very nice having the bulls eye look as if it is at arms length. I will know more about how well it is built after a couple of years of use. I really like the ability to adjust for distances of 25 to 300 yards. I may even try 300 yards just to see how close I can get to the bulls eye. From my experience so far I would recommend this to a friend.

Add on to my comments. Now that I have used this scope for a couple of weeks I find that it is very nice to see where my shots are hitting the target. At close distances and low magnifications it is really perfect. At the highest magnifications the distance you have to keep your eye from the eyepiece gets very thin, too far or too close by a fraction of an inch can cause cloudiness. Still it is very nice even with that quirk as you can pick the area of the bullseye you want to hit, not just someplace in it.

After many months with this scope it is still working just fine and I am still very happy with it. The next time I buy a scope I will get the Barska 10-40X50 for that little bit more magnification.
