The Pop Toss batting tee is an affordable alternative to traditional pitching machines and batting tees. Every Pop Toss batting tee is a spring loaded, piston driven pitching machine. This means that the Pop Toss does not use electricity or batteries, and is completely self contained.The timer on all the Pop Toss batting tee models is adjustable, as well as the height and spin on the "popped" ball. In fact, the Pop Toss pitching machine can even pitch curve balls and sliders, at intervals of 5, 7 or 9 secondsThe "Purple Tee" has been specifically designed to be used by Fast-Pitch Softball players ages 9 and up, although with close adult supervision and the adult loading the machine, kids as young as 6 or 7 can hit off of it. It can launch league softballs (10", 11", or 12") or rubber practice balls. The length of time you have from loading the ball to when it pops is adjustable by loosening or tightening the "Timing Knob". The spin of the popped ball is adjustable using the "Anglar", this allows you to go from a "curveball" type of spin to a "knuckleballs" lack of spin. The height of the popped ball is adjustable with the use of both the "Height Adjustment Collar" and the "Anglar". This allows young hitters as well as older hitters to use the same machine.

We enjoy using the Pop Toss! We are using it for my daughter to practice hitting who is playing in a 12U club team and we are also using it for our Co-Ed Rec league. It is a good piece of equipment to practice tracking the ball and eye hand coordination. We use it with the Bow Net so we don't need a big area to practice hitting. It is a good idea though to put the Pop Toss in a bucket like the orange ones from Home Depot just to protect it in case you hit the ball wrong so it hits the bucket instead of the Pop Toss. We've been using it for about a month now and so far it is doing what it said it would do. I think it is a good investment. Better than going to the batting cages.
