I read the reviews for some of the other croquet sets on Amazon and was a little concearned. This set did not have any reviews, but looked very sturdy and well made. I was not disappointed and would highly recommend. The mallets are of high quality dark hard wood. The balls, wickets, and posts are also well constructed. We played in fairly long grass and were still able to get solid shots. I have only used the set a couple of times, but have not had any issues.
