The Osprey Syncro 20 hydration pack is everything I had hoped for and more. So far, my favorite feature has been the integrated rain cover. I carry a 13" macbook air in the pack most days (no case or sleeve) and so the rain cover is a necessity when the weather turns ugly. The adjustable positioning for the chest strap is also an underrated gem. I love the padded hip belt for more rigorous activity, but I typically keep it buckled backwards around the pack so it stays out of the way. Storage space seems ample, despite the pack not being enormous. It is evident that Osprey put a lot of thought into the Syncro model.

Unlike other reviews I've read, I have had no problem with the Syncro 20 moving around on me while cycling/running/hiking/etc. The straps have to be fairly snug for the pack not to move around, but that's just common sense.

One very minor issue I've found with the pack is the excess strap ends. Particularly, the compression straps have a decent bit of excess that can swing around while you're moving. I've remedied this by taping most of the excess strap ends to their corresponding strap.
