Now I've tried a lot of gloves. Cleto. Ringside IMF. Revgear, G&S, and a few others. And i have to say these are my favorite, with ringside imf a distant second. These Rival gloves have great wrist support. For me the pocket is snug but not crowded. You can make a fist much better than with other gloves which allows you to hit with good form ... right on the knuckles. The leather is also very good, and so is the construction. I'm not big on all the graphics but that's not a deal breaker. These are soft but i wouldn't say they are pillows - which is good for your sparring partner - and good for you cause if you hurt your sparring partner, you won't have anyone to train with!

PS: i have the hook and loop version also, i use them for bag work and they're great too. I prefer them over "bag" gloves because they are softer and i can feel my fist hitting the bag properly-less chance of injury IMO. The padding may wear down quicker because they're made for sparring, but hey, that's a trade off.
