Sevylor Super Caravelle 4-Person Inflatable Boat Review

I love this boat. I've been using it for a while now and it's a lot of fun. We use it for going down rivers or for spending a day out on the lake. It only takes a couple minutes to inflate (I use a Coleman 12-Volt DC pump bought from Amazon, plugged into my car's cigarette lighter). Seriously, I can remove it from my car and inflate it, all in about 2 minutes. It's durable and very sturdy, and just a lot of fun to use. There's absolutely no need for adding a "wood floor" as someone mentioned in another review (unless you're planning on standing up in it... maybe for fishing while standing? I have no idea.). I've never had any problem with it losing air in any of the chambers, but it's nice to know that there are multiple air chambers in case you did manage to puncture it.

Calling it a 4 person raft is an exaggeration. Technically it can handle that much weight, but really there's only enough room for 3 adults at most to comfortably use it (or really, 2 adults if you're carrying gear). Also the "oar locks" are too small for my paddles, but that's fine, I just don't use the oar locks. Don't forget to buy paddles or oars by the way, they aren't included. And neither is a pump. About motors, I've heard other people have said it works great with the Sevylor 12v electric trolling motor, with no additional mounting hardware needed (but for any other type of motor you have to buy their mounting kit separately).

It's a lot of fun to use. Highly recommended.
