I purchased this scope despite having had, just two weeks earlier a bad experience with a somewhat smaller Barska scope. I put it on a .308 winchester rifle and in less than 200 shots, the scope had vibrated apart. The Barska plaque literally fell off the side of the scope somewhere around the 180th shot. Meanwhile (and far worse), the internals were breaking apart. After a few dozen shots to zero the scope, the shot groupings started about two inches at 100m. The 10-shot groupings slowly got worse, creeping out to about 4 inches, then suddenly (right after the plaque fell off the scope) spread out horribly with the impact points smeared out to over 12 inches in diameter and 12 inches low. This scope definitely can't be used on 308 winchester or bigger.
