Camelbak Products Volt 13 LR Hydration Backpack, Pirate Black/Graphite, 100-Ounce Review

I've used this pack on quite a few mountain biking trips now and really enjoyed having it along. The materials are lightweight and it fits comfortably on my back. Airflow on your back is pretty minimal, but I honestly haven't seen anything better out there.

When its hot out I like to fill the reservoir with cold water. You get a nice cool back and cool water to drink (for a couple hours at least). Just remember to let it air out afterwards as condensation will build up inside the reservoir pocket.

Speaking of which we even went through some rain and it turned out that this pack is pretty water resistant - all my stuff was dry even after being rained on for several hours.

This is a comfortable and nice looking vest. I initially ordered the vest for my upcoming trip to Japan and based on the estimated shipping date, it should arrived before I leave on vacation. However, the shipping was delayed and I wasn't able to bring it for the trip. The vest is still in the plastic wrap and I only saw it when I returned last Sat. Petzl 8003 Full Body Harness Black Size 2 Review

I used this harness for weeks 14-29 of pregnancy (top-roping, indoors only). I'm on the petite side (5'2) and this harness never fit very well. It got the job done and felt safe but was not comfortable. I spent a long time adjusting the straps and that helped some but the unpadded straps and huge metal buckles still dug in to my legs uncomfortably.

Around week 23-24 the harness started putting pressure on the sides of my belly when I was belaying or being lowered. Whenever there was pressure on the belay loops, the straps going down the sides of my belly would get pulled up and in, squeezing my belly. By week 29 the amount of pressure on my belly started to make me feel nervous and I stopped using it because I was worried it might hurt me or the baby.

By March 2013 an actual maternity harness will become available from Mountain Mama (made by Mad Rock) for $120. I'd advise other pregnant climbers to check that one out first before considering this Petzl harness.

Perfect fit for my Kimber 4" and amazing quality leather. I listened to the instructions and played around with it before use (meaning I massaged the leather)... sort of like breaking in a mitt by moving it in your hands.
