Marc New York by Andrew Marc Men's Melrose Jacket, Black, X-Large Review

I ordered the Melrose Jacket because I really liked the style. However, I was disappointed when I got a good look upon receiving it. I'm not saying the jacket doesn't look good or was of poor quality, those aspects were fine. What bugged me was that the design is a fascade.

First we have the faux fleece "inner jacket". It's just two strips of fleece attached to the interior front of the actual jacket that you can zipper up. I can't even put into words, how inane I feel this is. It also doesn't help that I was planning to wear my real fleece jacket as a layer.

On the back of the jacket, there are what appears to be "shoulder gussets". They're fake too! Real shoulder gussets would enable improved arm movements, like raising your arms without lifting the entire jacket. Nope. I can't move my arms any more than if I was wearing a buttoned suit jacket that's a size too small. Don't even try to grab the overhead hand rails on the subway.

And finally, what's the deal with the fake "pocket" zippers?

OK, rant aside, I found the jacket was a little tight, especially on the arms (sleeves) and shoulders. If you are going to buy this jacket, you may want to consider buying a size up.

I must say that my displeasure starts with my inability to read between the lines & small print.It is what they say it is really but American seller does not mean American manufactured, but what is now & days? The tri rail is nice (good material) & all the rings seem to be decent.Flashlight looks good until you turn it on & get to wondering if it takes a min to warm up or what?! My daughter has a Cinderella flashlight with more output than this!It also has a compass end cap you can use if you decide not to use the pressure switch but I WOULD STRONGLY ADVISE NOT USING IT ,as you would no doubt find yourself in the country of the flashlights origin (Hint, not U.S.A). The laser is run of the mill (nothing special). All in all I just spent $100.00 on a tri rail,3 mounting rings, a black pipe with end caps & a red or green dot inside, a flashlight for the truck & a red laser pointer for the kids. Two thumbs down.

Crescendo Fitness Curve Sit Up Bench Review

I just received this bench and assembled it by myself for about less than 20 minutes. It is perfect for my purpose of using this bench: to do sit ups. I especially like the curve of the bench surface. It helps toning my back and add a little more challenge to the excersize.

Three things I should remind you if you want to buy it: first, it might not be suitable for tall people. I am petite (5'2") and when I do sit ups, my head can almost reach the floor when I lie down there.

Second, it seems not very study as you would like. Don't get me wrong, the material and the construction are great, but there is one joint connection part of the bench was a little loose, maybe designed intentionally. Also, the bottom support bar could be slightly longer to make it stand more firmly on the floor. What I did to fix it is to put two 5 pound dumbbells under the bench. Now it is heavier and feels sturdier.

Third, a trivial thing is the cross bar under the bench could not really cross to be centered because the middle part is slightly larger than the hole. So I have to just leave it there, one end is longer than the other end. But it still functions well and doesn't bother me much.

All in all, I like the bench and recommend it to people who want a curved bench.
